“Okay, so… what did you say you wanted again? Ive um… Ive lost the shopping list…”
From the other end of the phone, Rose stayed silent for a few moments, before breaking out into laughter. “You forgot already?”
“Oi! No! don’t laugh! Hey! Yes, i forgot, okay, Human mind now, and with my attention span its not good…” You could practically hear the pout in his voice.
“Sorry, sorry,” Rose tried to stifle her laughter, clearing her throat. “It’s just… Defender of the Earth. Saver of worlds. Makes grown men tremble, absolute genius… and you lost a shopping list.”
He grumbled under his breath. “Roooose! come oooon!” He finally wines. “Plus… *sigh* thats who i was… i’m technically non of that now… im just… *sigh*” he sighed “Dr John Smith, really clever half-human, who knows way too much and has a growing tardis at home.” It was clear that even 2 years in he was still not dealing too well with this and didn’t see himself as the real doctor anymore.
