“The past is constantly in motion, so is the future. Perhaps it can be changed. Unless something happens between now and when we meet again in my future to change all of that. I do not want to go back to what I was before…weak and pathetic…I had grown soft.”

“well, me being here and telling you this should have already impacted the future in its own way…” Missy mused.

She stood up and walked over to the console, ready to go make some chaos.
“I need to kill someone, my fingers a literally itching to tear someone’s throat out or slice them open.”

“I do hope so. I do not like the sound of the me from your future,” he scowled, rising as well to help navigate. Two piloting made things so much easier than a solo pilot.

“Never mind, may as well live in the now!” Shaking off the bad emotions, Missy smiled at him and set off around the console, helping to pilot them to the human colony in the future.

Oh, how good this felt. How right. The two of them, in the TARDIS, off to see other worlds. Of course, they would conquer them and crush those worlds beneath their feet. The Doctor had his friend back. That was all that he cared about.

When they landed, Missy quickly got her umbrella and turned to him.
“Should we go with evil, straight away or make ourselves seem nice and then betray them at the least likely moment? Perhaps somehow make friends with the king and then kill him?”

“The straight route or the knife in the back?” he tapped his chin, weighing the options, “The long con or the quick fix? Oh, I can’t quite decide. The longer we draw it out, the better the betrayal in the end…That one sounds good.”

“Excellent~” Missy sang happily.
“So, we Find an idiot king, befriend him, have him unknowingly sign the planet and crown over to us, poison him and while he is dying we taunt him, tell him what we are going to do to his people… and then, once crowned, the fun begins… what do you think? Have anything to add, dearest?” She asked with a wicked grin.

“I’m trying, very hard, to figure out what you are trying to accomplish here…”
“You do realize you are doing it wrong, right?”

Tony stilled for a moment at the unfamiliar voice, but decided that circumstances had made it somewhat vital to just roll with the oddity instead of jumping into it. Why else would he be doing a rewire like this in a public area? That didn’t mean he wouldn’t answer of course, and his voice was light when he spoke.

“See, those two statements don’t go together. Either I’m doing it wrong, or I’m doing something mysterious, you don’t get both. If you think I’m doing it wrong, well, then what do you think I’m trying to accomplish? And if I’m doing something mysterious to you, then how can you be sure I’m not doing exactly what I set out to do?”

“I wanted to see your reaction to being told you are doing it wrong.” the woman confessed, walking to his side and leaning over him, not caring for personal boundaries.

“Now it could be anything really, most of what I’m thinking of would be far too complicated for your tiny little mind, yet I could build in mere moments… and I once built a gun out of leaves…”

“Tea..”

What really sounded good to him was teaming up with her to rid themselves of this damned noise inside their heads, it hurt and it was driving him to take all kinds of risks and measures to try and make it stop.

“Two hundred years..” he repeated softly, “but you still hear it, don’t you?” He had to wonder now, he was at the point in his life where the noise was loudest and most painful, so what was it like for her?

She gave him a soft look.
“No… I don’t… they are gone, an event, in your future and my past, happened and they were removed. If you want them gone properly, you will have to wait for that moment.”

Missy helped her Younger-self to the Elevator while reassuring him.
“Don’t worry, you will be able to get back to your TARDIS and even have a cuppa before regenerating… tho you might leak a little bit.”

She set him down and walked away slightly.
“And regenerate into you?”
He asked making a face, that just made the woman smirk.
“Welcome to the Sisterhood.” she taunted.

Turning away she was forced to turn back when he questioned her actions.
She explained it was Time to stand with their friend, even tho she knew he wouldn’t like what she would say.

So when she turned her back on him, she could feel it, in the back of her mind, and in the air, that something was going to happen, as if her memories were trying to warn her about something.

She ignored his denial as she continued to walk off, telling him that this was their future now… only to get hit in the back with the laser.
Laughing she fell, very glad that she managed to fiddle with the device, making sure it couldn’t kill off a TimeLord. Originally she had done this to make sure the other didn’t kill the Doctor.. but how it had unknowingly saved her own life.

She lay down, feeling faint. The device may not have killed her or caused a regeneration, but it didn’t mean that something wasn’t wrong. The last thing she remembered was the trees above and the distant sounds of explosions.

@ask-xi

It had been a narrow margin retrieving another Missy from her fate. One of these days XI expected a Doctor would come careering across dimensions to punch his lights out for getting involved. That was probably more likely than a heartfelt thanks, even with the complicated history of the women he had stolen.

After a perilous journey through the Gallifreyan medical system, the still unconscious Mistress had been transferred to a comfortable room at the Lord President’s request. It was, as usual, an Earth-style boudoir rather than joyless Gallifreyan quarters and he did not expect the patient to complain. XI sat in a chair at her bedside.

“You know, it’s been a while since I was last kidnapping people in my box,” he commented when she opened her eyes. “Your face has been growing on me. Thought you might like to keep it.”

Missy’s eyes blinked open.
For a moment or two she was very confused and continued to stare up at the ceiling, but the male voice drew her attention.
She looked at him for a long moment before frowning.

“Yes, I would very much prefer to keep this face, Thank you… So you stopped kidnapping people as companions then?” The woman asks, not realising it was not her Doctor.

Missy forced herself not to look down.
Her fingers hurt as she held on, but she knew she wouldn’t be able to hold on for much longer.
Taking a deep breath, she reached across as much as she could, fear in her eyes.
If she got out of this, she would answer as many questions as the man had and then she would.. perhaps not retire… but tone down on her world domination plans that she had for the future… take a break if you will…
She reached out even more, straining, but soon she grabbed his hand, her grip slipping from where she was holding on, making her scream, her grip tightening around his hand.

With a clench of teeth, he’s got her. If it tears his arms out of socket, he’ll live a life to never clap again, but he’s not letting her go.Ever so slowly he managed to pull himself closer to the rail until he could finally loop his elbow over its edge. It was a tricky thing to shift his grip but he didn’t fail. Grit and small stones loosened by his rubber soles fall down into the crevasse and no sound comes back up for their fall.

A deep sound of frustration rolling in his throat, he pulls her the rest of the way up. The Doctor doesn’t stop until her hands are secured on the rail. Only then did he let out the breath he was holding. He turned to face her and smiled, a bit worse for wear. Crisis averted, it was time to find out who she was.

“Hello! I’m the Doctor. How are you?”

Once back on solid ground, The Mistress took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “Im a little shaken at the moment… can- can we move away from the edge?” She didn’t give him a choice as she walked further inland.

Finding a spot, she sat down, her dress pooling around her.
“My name is Missy, Short for The Mistress, I’m sure you have questions for me, correct?” She patted the ground, inviting him to sit down next to her.
“Go right ahead and ask, I’ll answer them truthfully and in full, to the best of my ability.”

“What do you think?” the Doctor had returned, hands spread a little from his sides, a smile on his face.

Missy blinked and then laughed.

“Talk about Da-Ja-Vu” she Grinned.
“I think it looks great on you, it also reminds me a little bit of what your third self would wear. Perhaps you could try purple on a different day, then we can match.” Missy winked.

“Don’t believe that I have anything in purple…” he shrugged, making a mental note to check the next chance he got, “So, what is our heading?” he asked, striding around to look over the controls.

“I was thinking, how about a Human colony, in the future? I’m not quite sure what we would do, but we could either take over the planet, terrorize them, cause a war to happen with some higher species, or just kill them all.” She shrugged.

“All of the above sounds lovely to me,” he plopped down in another seat, allowing himself some relaxation before the coming fun they would have, “It is good to be doing something again. With you,” he turned his head, his eyes gleaming.

“I absolutely agree, do you… Do you think it’s possible to rewrite your future? I honestly wouldn’t mind if my past was rewritten… that doctor’s version of good is very skewered… vainarrogant.. sentimental… and he wanted me to become the same…” near the end of the sentence she had zoned out.

Shaking herself out of it, she gave him a small smile, pretending all was well.
“As for the plan, we can just do them in order of lethality, more chaos that way.”

“I guess i do.” She hummed softly.
“Are you a surviver then?” Missy enquired curiously.

Perhaps she could figure out who this young woman was.

“Oh, I’ve been surviving for a very long time,” Ashildr smirked. “I’m almost disappointed that more of his associates don’t know about me. I’d be wonderful leverage against him and here I am going to waste.”

She folded her arms, “A long, long time ago, the Doctor got me killed and he decided the best way to fix that was to make me immortal and then run off. He’s very good at running off.”

“Oh dear… He has been a busy naughty boy…”
“That he is… very good. Don’t you worry dearie, I won’t let it go to waste, I’ll use it in your honor.” She winked.
