The Doctor catches him as best she can, lowering him carefully to the ground; she’s not even sure she has any regeneration energy left to spare, and to top it all off she doesn’t even have her TARDIS. Because she torched it with regeneration energy and then promptly fell out of it, or was ejected from it. She still can’t quite decide which she wants to believe.
“I-I don’t know what ta do…shit, I don’t know what ta do, don’t ya even DARE go an’ die on me, ya hear?”
He shooshed her gently.
“I’m okay, love, I’m okay… it’s not fatal… I promise…” he winced as he shifted.
“But him, I need to kill, he tried to hurt you.” He growled and fired himself to sit up slightly, ignoring the pain or her protests if she had any and shot the idiot dead, before flopping back down on her lap, panting slightly.
“I’m good, promise… just need to you know… heal a little… it sliced my side, nothing major…”
The bullet had catches his side, thankfully, but he was not going to have her regenerate again so soon.
The blonde looks down at the sudden weight of the Master’s head in her lap, and smiles.
“Being Prime Minister getting a little tiring for you, huh, Kosch?” she asks, watching him intently for a moment before she swivels around lengthways, lying back and carefully pulling him into a hug. Her own thoughts can wait until later, notebook set aside onto the coffee table. Her relief at having told him of her identity was immense, in that she can be completely truthful, now.
She’s still not good at resuming the whole telepathic-connection part, but her Koschei is helping her at each step, never being angry when she pulls back, and always willing to console her in her lower moments. Somehow the rarity of it makes it more devoted and special rather than a constant.
“Anything I can help with?”
The time lord whines and nods slightly. “They are all so annoying…” he muttered. “And here i thought that firs day in office was bad…”
He wrapped his arms around her and snuggled against her. “I dunno… Just hold me i guess? wont say no to a massage either.”
“I hope you realise i’m practically a god in my own right, or at least my race of people are pompous enough to think that they are Lords over Time.” The Master smirked.
