Birth:
Was born in a small village called Bronton, on the East coast of Scotland.
It was a fishing village before it started to expand. Flo was born in the winter, on the 14th December.

6 months: It wasn’t long after she was born when Joanna and Andrew realized that their child was mute. Flo hardly cried and when she did it was more of a ragged breathing and a whisper scream than sound. This upset them greatly.

Age 1: But they didn’t give up, by the time Flo’s first birthday came around, both her parents and Flo were learning British sign language.

Age 5: At age 5 Andrew Dayton became a soldier and was deployed for the first time.

Age 10: Bad news struck the family when Flo was 10. it was 2 weeks before Easter. Andrew Dayton died in the field. Flo and their mother attended the funeral with the rest of the family.

Age 13: As for most girls, Flo began to feel strange…
But mostly in a way, that she was uncomfortable in her own body…
She didn’t feel like she was a girl…
nor did she feel like she was boy….
She didn’t feel like all the others, who had started to date.
She really didn’t want to do anything like that…
So she began to search for answers.

Age 14: Answers came when she was 14, her best friend Megan had told her about her coming out as gay and about Pride…
which included non-binary, Ace’s and Aro’s.
This made sense to her! Finally, something that fit.
Flo could finally figure out that she was a Non-binary with pronouns Shethey and was also a grey-Aro/Ace.

Age 18: Finishing school, Flo came to realize that her passion was flowers. She loved them greatly! So she decided to go on, into college and do Floristry & Floral Design.

Age 20: after Finishing her degree, Flo went to work as an apprentice in the local flower shop, owned by her Aunt Maggie.
Aunt Maggie was a very fair but strict boss, treating her like she did the rest of her staff, no special treatment.

Age 21: After a year, her aunt took her on permanently and she had a good job that she enjoyed.

Age 24: Present: Flo is now the manager of her aunt’s shop, which was doing great in the fast growing town.

Flo loves to wear dresses but, she won’t class herself as one, as most of the time she doesn’t feel like a girl, just herself like she has no gender.

It annoys Flo greatly when the other girls keep telling her that she needs a boyfriend or a girlfriend, but she really can’t be bothered with all that. she doesn’t care about romance or being with someone. But Flo is positive that when the time is right, she will meet someone that will click and then it will be okay…
She has all the time in the world – why rush it.

Sometimes, Flo feels down, she won’t want to talk to anyone and she will feel like she is always tired. On these days you can find her in her bedroom reading or playing the violin/piano
