“I still run with Jack!? Amazing.”

He laughed at that.

“I tell you that I stranded you at the end of the universe to die and you pick up on the fact you’re still traveling with the time agent… your reactions make me want to kiss you…” He smirked.

“Wait until you’re stitched up.”

​“fiiiine… but i expect you to lie down with me… i missed you…”

“We haven’t shared a bed in years.”

“So? Does it matter? All the reason to do it.” He pouts.

There was not point when the other could smell it.

“I am… you could say it was self injury, for my future self stabbed my in the back…. literally…”

He was less surprised at that than he should have been.

“Finally reached that level of self loathing huh? C’mon. Let’s get to th’ TARDIS. I can patch you up.”

“I guess i did…” he murmured as he walked over to him, eyes squinting slightly, the only indication that he was in a great deal of pain.

The master laughs.

“I thank you kindly” He sassed him, and almost sighed happily as he felt it already start to numb the pain.

“Oh and stitching… that needs doing as well…” he knew that he was going to be rather loopy in about 5 minuets.

The Doctor prepared a needle and surgical thread. “Just keep talking.” He lifted up the hem of the master’s shirt. So sticky with blood.

“You really should give me some thing to talk about… oh! Ask me a question!” He grins.

“A present?” River pretends that she sounded calm instead of surprised. The hint of a smile curves her lips. “Do I have to close my eyes?”

“Well~ You can, if you want to.” The doctor grinned with a cheeky smile and pulled out a Medium sized velvet box.

The blonde had been stuck on what to get her wife for their wedding anniversary (tho being in a time machine meant that the date wasn’t always consistent) and had been trying to think of ideas, when she realised that the best thing, was to get something that would have had meaning.

So, she decided to steal a well known necklace from a well known Queen and give it to River as a gift… and this one, despite the effort that it took to get it, was perfect for it also had a TARDIS blue gem in the middle of it, reminding the woman of her home and River was part of that home.

The Scribe probably shouldn’t have asked the Artist that question, but lo and behold she did.

The young(ish) Time Lady had been standing in the main room of her friend’s TARDIS, silently debating with herself on how to climb up the navigation console without breaking something, just so she could hang up some multicoloured tinsel. Said obnoxiously bright decorative drapings were currently hidden behind her back.

“Wha, Christmas? Getting to that time of year already? …Well, of course it is, because time isn’t linear, it’s… yeah you know already wow I’m shutting up now.”

The Scribe laughed happily at her rambling.
“Did you forget? Im pretty sure we were just talking about it with the historian last week.” She tuts lightly.

“Im thinking about sticking up some decorations, i have a box in storage somewhere… i should go get it, and the stepladder from the cupboard down the hall.” the TimeLady muses.

“Forget? Nah… well, maybe. But I’ve had a lot to think about. Stuff that totally didn’t include rainbow tinsel…” she resisted the urge to laugh. Artie produced the tinsel from behind her back and playfully draped it around her friend’s shoulders like a feather boa.

“Need any help with that?”

The Scribe beamed and laughed, grabbing the ends and posing with the tinsel.

“Oh I’d love some help.”

She giggled and moved to the hallway where the cupboard was, before quickly pulling out the boxes of random decorations and the step ladder.

“Like you even need to ask,” Jack grinned in return. He took a moment just to look around the area to get a feel for the best, then tapped the Doctor’s arm. “There’s a doorway over in that corner there – seems like a good place to start?”

“Perfect!” he grins and wanders over to the door.
He jiggled the handle and when he found it was locked,
He quickly used the sonic screwdriver to open it.

“Seems like a hallway, probably leads deeper into the building.”
He told him, looking into the darkness.
“Do you think the basement door will be at the back?”

“One way to find out,” Jack grinned, darting into the dark as he pulled out a flashlight to look around. It was, naturally, full of cobwebs and rather menacing-looking, but ultimately empty. Or at least it appeared at first glance. “Well, that noise is certainly getting louder.”

“Oi! Wait up!” He pulls out his sonic and dashed into the dark after him.

“Any idea which way it’s coming from?” He asked as he caught up.

He opened and closed his free hand, this regeneration being use to holding his companions hand while in a dangerous place or when running.
