Annoyance wasn’t half of what was on her face. The Doctor pouted, settling in her seat as she gave The Master a look that could kill. Talking was her main weapon. Being able to communicate, talk – to have that taken away from her reminded her of the time that creature took her voice on MIDNIGHT. It wasn’t nice.
She crossed her arms, just watching him.
His eyes widened when he realised she didn’t appreciate his teasing or perhaps, she didn’t understand that it was a joke.
“Hey…” he said, gently touching her arm to stop her from leaving. “Hey, love, it was just a joke… I was teasing… come here…” he stepped closer and cupped her cheek.
“This really bothers you doesn’t it…” he asked his eyes showing consern.
The Doctor stopped, bit her lip, and turned slightly to look back at the other. At the gentleness and the touch, she seemed to relax slightly, matching his gentleness in her gaze. Looking down slightly, she gave a small nod, before looking away. Yes, it bothered her. Perhaps more than anything ever had before. Because it made her feel powerless and in a position wherein she couldn’t even try and stop anything.
She didn’t even care who she had to kiss. She just wanted to get back to normal.
Sighing, she moved her hand up and took The Master’s hand, shaking her head slightly as she looked back to him, focusing a bit more. He didn’t need to kiss her if he didn’t want to. But how to communicate that to him? Hardest part ever. She placed her hand up, and moved away, looking away a bit as she did. She’ll figure this out, without needing someone to kiss her.
He tuts and rolled his eyes slightly, before linking their fingers together, a sign that he wasn’t planning on leaving her any time soon.
Still holding her hand, he used his other one to gently pull her her into a kiss.
A kiss that showed her that he in no way, didn’t want kiss her… neck he’s wanted to do this since he opened the Fobwatch back when she was the boyish man with spiky hair.

He gives her a mock pout and then grins again.
“It’s okay love, I’ll kiss you in a bit, just let me have this little bit of peace and quite.” He snickered.
Oh, that offended her. That really put a downer in her persona. Little bit of peace of quiet? That wasn’t fair at all—
With a sigh, she stood and shifted, signing the following, ‘I’ll go and find somebody else then.’ It was a different language she was signing in, not something that she was sure The Master would understand, but she tried. If nothing else, the attitude that she signed it in? She didn’t seem impressed.

Somehow, the Master doesn’t miss a beat (hey, he’s always had excellent rhythm) when the Doctor springs this whimsical request. Mid-pouring of tea, he fluidly spins and gestures to her for attention.
“Well darling, you know that an actual living child requires regular maintenance, right? More than, say, a cat, or a spinning delivery bot head, or a cactus, or a Type-40 TARDIS that a certain someone else,” and he tugs on his own suit lapels, “regularly tends do. She’ll need food, and affection, and probably school of some kind, and next thing you know she’ll be dating, and acquiring moral principles, and asking you where babies come from. Can you feed and water a darling human girl with dedication?”
“I’ve had kids before Koschei…” Theta raised a brow at him, knowing that he knew that full well.
Tho he did have a point, it had been such a very long time since she had actually looked after a child…
Was she actually a child? Or was she an adult by human standards? She probably only just became an adult…
“Also I think she 21… or at least 18… Plus, I’ll have you there as well, right? Unless you don’t wanna… and- and that’s fine… I’ll figure it out somehow, it’s just, she’s never known her parents and apparently saying that ‘she had a great out look on life’ was the NICEST thing anyone had ever said to her… along side the fact she’s only had ONE gift her whole life… I mean how can someone only have ONE gift their entire life! Surly someone else was nice to her other than Julie of personnel…”
“I dont want to go back to the house…. HE will still be there….”
That was… no, couldn’t be. But it was.
“…Hey.”
“It’s okay. Y’don’t have to, Thete.”
“So what? Do I stay in the tree house all this time? Only going back to the dorms during non holiday times?” He looked up conflicted.
“Who are you anyways?”
The Doctor lingered where she was for a couple of moments, before finally shifting and bending down in front of her past self.
“It’s difficult. The position you’re in, and it’s NOT FAIR. Not in the slightest. But y’see, logistics don’t matter. Don’t do something you don’t want to do, ‘specially when it comes to this. Y’got it?”
“–AND, I’m you. Way, way, WAY into the future, longer than you can imagine. So believe me, I understand how hard it is.”
He nods eyes wide, listening to everything she was saying and then gasped.
“M-me?… you’re me?” He tilts his head slightly and then gently poked her cheek. She seemed relatively real. “Will the future be okay..? Do we actually get to run away?”
Biting his lip, too a deep breath through his nose and then slowly blew it out.
“I’m gonna make my tree house bigger on the inside. Koschei said he would help me make it into a real house…” he told her.
Koschei’s reaction was delayed, if only slightly, but then he finally turned around, wrapping his arms around her out of an instinct he thought he had buried too deep to ever resurface. Perhaps he had succeeded; the gesture was unpractised and awkward, but eventually he settled for holding her with a slightly concerned frown, one hand between her shoulders, the other subconsciously brushing back her hair.
“You alright there?”
“Much better now that I’m with you…” she mumbled he head on his chest. “I missed you… memories started to crop up, and then regrets that we didn’t surrender to each other earlier…” she kissed his jawline.
