“Boo… so, you know how I’ve been leaving for a few hours every day? Well I’ve finished… would you like to come see the surprise?”

Theta tensed at the sudden darkness but relaxed when he heard Koschei’s voice. “I’d love to see it.”

The older boy let him go and took his hand, leading him out the academy, out the citadel and towards their tree house.
Once there, Ko grins and gestures up the the ladder.

“The surprise is in the bedroom.”

Theta climbed up the ladder and stared. “Koschei Oakdown…”

Kos giggled as he climbed up behind him and wrapped his arms around the other’s waist after closing the front door.

“So… Is this worth me disappearing for a few hours each day?” He asked looking at the loft bed and then at him with a cheeky smile.

“There’s a bed with a ladder…” theta mumbled, leaning against his love.

“Its a double bed with a ladder.” He corrected with a grin.

“It’s amazing.”

Koschei kissed his cheek.
