Koschei…. That name sounded vaguely familiar to him, and yet he knew it wasn’t anything he would have heard on Earth. Or maybe it was. He couldn’t be entirely sure, other than it wasn’t a name he shouldn’t hear on this planet.

“Is that so?” he said, turning and gesturing to the city at large. “Well, what have you thought about it so far?”

“Really? I was thinking that big Fountain thing. I think He.. my bestie that is, said it was by the bay… i cant remember… or even some chips from the cafe thats there as well… that sounds nice too.” he hummed in thought.

“The Water Tower?” he smirked. “Yeah, that tends to attract quite a lot of attention.” He was hardly going to mention that it was his base of operations, but its reputation as a tourist trap was always a nice cover. “And there’s plenty of places to find chips.”

Koschei perks up happily at this, really wanting to try Earth’s chips.
“Thats sounds great!” He beamed almost child-like, practically giving away that he was young for his years.

“So, You’re local, right? What’s it like living on- er.. in Cardiff?” He asked tilting his head. He had to remind himself to not do that.

Oh lord. This guy needed help and it wasn’t just the kind Jack provided. Jack already knew that he wasn’t human, but this would have sealed it for him. At least the guy was trying, so Jack was willing to play along and see where it went.

“Well, we do have a couple museums and a castle, plus a football stadium and some modern art sculptures – I’d be happy to show you around if you’d like.” he offered his hand to the stranger for a shake. “Jack Harkness, at your service.”

Koschei let out a breath, relived that it had somewhat worked and the human wasn’t running off screaming that he was an alien that came to invade them.

Not that he thought what any of them would do…
Just.. he was told they were more primitive and he wasn’t sure just how much.

He beamed and shook his hand, ignoring the strange feeling of unease that he felt when he touched him.

“That sounds perfect! Koschei- Koschei Oakdown, pleasure to meet you!”
“My friend talked about this, er… City and i thought id come and see what all the fuss was about, wanted to see why he liked it so much.” he explained.

7 – an assertive kiss.

Koschei smirked as he watched his best friend, who once again had his nose in a book, he had noticed that his friend had become a little bit more touchy with him and decided that if The’ wasn’t going to take the first step…

Then HE was.
And so he pushed down the book, not even listening to his friends protests and pushed is lips against his to shut him up.

“You snuck out?!” she whispered conspiratorially, as if the High Council could here them all the way here on Earth if she spoke too loudly. “Can’t blame you, that place is duller than ditchwater. Much more fun here.”

She suddenly gasped. “I can show you around!”

“Heh, i guess you can…
Tho.. where are we?”

He had totally forgotten to actually check when he stepped out.

“I mean i know its earth…
An you never seem to stop rabbeting on, about this ball of dirt…
So…. ‘Planet earth is boring… change my mind.’” He smirked.

The Doctor practically squeals with glee and throws her arms around her friend. “We’re gonna have so much fun!”

When she finally steps away from him, she takes a moment to calm herself down and loops her arm into his. “Right. First things first. We’re in York, city of Vikings, chocolate, and Harry Potter. Also, most people sound like me, so I adore it here.”

He chuckles and hugs the woman back.
Seems things never changed.
Still the dorky ball of energy that he knew and loved.

“Ha~ Well then, Lead The way.” he grins.

An alarm went off on Jack’s wrist strap. Any time a TARDIS energy signature popped up somewhere, he got an alert. It was an old habit from his time waiting for the Doctor, and he never really got around to turning it off. Lucky, too, it seemed, because this TARDIS signature was ever so slightly different than the Doctor’s TARDIS.

Good thing too, as Jack approached the young man, he could tell this too was not the Doctor.

“You alright there pal?”

If you asked him, Koschei would deny the fact that he had practically jumped in shock when the human male addressed him.

He span around, collecting himself, making it seem like he did not just jump a foot into the air and licked his lips….
“Right… earth english…” He murmured in gallifreyan.
He was ever so thankful for the Capsule’s translation software.

“Um… Hi… Yes, i’m- im good… just… exploring… its, my first time in…. in Cardiff…?” He guessed, while sneaking a peek into a near by gift shop praying to the Other that, that was, what the city he was in, was called.

It was his first time to Earth, never mind this city called Cardiff.
And he was not really doing well on acting natural.

“So… um… any idea where it would be a good place to, you know start? Tourist wise? Anything interesting that Hum-… People do? Museums? Art Galleries?” He quickly corrected himself, hoping that the man didn’t notice.

Oh lord. This guy needed help and it wasn’t just the kind Jack provided. Jack already knew that he wasn’t human, but this would have sealed it for him. At least the guy was trying, so Jack was willing to play along and see where it went.

The Doctor was minding her own business, walking around licking an ice cream cone and generally people watching, when suddenly, she saw someone who looked remarkably like her oldest friend.

“Koschei?!” She shrieked, running up to him and grabbing his hand. “What are you doing here? And look at you, young as a spring chicken!”

Eyes wide he stared at her in shock.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the woman knew his Gallifreyan name and the other fact was that she had an aura of a bouncing baby rabbit with too much energy, he would have ended up ripping his hand away and running from her…

Theta?”
Who else would act so familiar with him.
No one that who.

“I… um… snuck out….?”
He wasn’t sure why he made it like a question.
“So… you look…. different…. and i see you finally managed to get off Gallifrey.”

“You snuck out?!” she whispered conspiratorially, as if the High Council could here them all the way here on Earth if she spoke too loudly. “Can’t blame you, that place is duller than ditchwater. Much more fun here.”

@intergalacticstarlight – Liked for a starter. (10th doctor – I choose you~)

To say that it was easy to sneak out with his father’s T-Capsule would be a lie.
No it was rather hard, but once inside and away from the planet, it was very easy – mainly because he had passed his driving test….

Compared to others that he knew
*cough* Theta *cough*

Grinning he landed on a planet…
he had not bothered to check…
But once he was satisfied that it had breathable air, he grabbed his messenger bag, which had his research journal and stepped out the…

cardboard box?
really?

Shaking his head he went off to explore…
this would be fun.

[ @yourbestfriendkoschei ]

The Doctor squinted at the monitors through his specs, scanning the planet the TARDIS had just landed him on entirely against his will, checking time and location. Not that it was odd. In fact, the ship rarely ever took him where he genuinely wanted to go and he was beginning to suspect the navigational controls were more polite suggestions than actual instructive technologies built for the purpose of piloting a ship.

Never-the-less, it was a friendly planet he’d been to several times in the past. Lovely little planet called Divariacarna in a time when the normally-bustling tourist location was just beginning to stretch its’ proverbial legs and get its’ name out there in the Universe as a proper vacationing spot. Made a bit of sense, at least to him. After the past few weeks, more like months, well… years really… centuries perhaps… he could certainly use a vacation.

“Yes, yes, I know, I know… But you really could’ve asked first, old girl. Even still, there are plenty of little shops. I do love a little shop.”

The TARDIS let out hum of combined amusement and exasperation and a fond smile graced his features as he took the specs from his face, letting out a soft chuckle.

“Suppose you’re right. If you’d have asked I’d have refused. Right then! Let’s see why you’ve brought me back to Divariacarna, shall we?”

With that, the Doctor waggled his eyebrows at the Time Rotor before plucking his jacket from the railing that lined the console unit and shoving his arms through it as he bounded toward the TARDIS doors, stepping out onto the planet in the hopes of finding something to occupy him. More so than a little shop anyway.

Divariacarna. Splendid. A nice little planet with lots of shops and a perfect place to spend pocket money.

Grinning, Koschei made a note as to where the ‘cardboard box’ was,
Next to the pocket watch shop and ran out into the crowd to find a gift for his best friend and a little something for himself…. perhaps he might even find something interesting.

Koschei had never been to this planet… or any planet in general, so he got lost quite easily in the hustle and bustle of people. He was also distracted by the colours, so distracted that he ended up crashing into someone’s shoulder.

Sorry!” the teen said apologetically to the tall man in the brown coat,
“Im trying to find a Gift for my Best Friend! But the colours are distracting me…” he laughed. “Its my first time on the planet, you see, and its ever so exciting…”

“Oh! Say, you don’t have any recommendations on which shop would be the best?” Koschei asked before looking around him at the shops.

“oh hush, you are to me.” Theta whispered, his thumbs stroking Koschei’s red cheeks, looking into his eyes, he thought they were absolutely gorgeous.

After a few seconds Theta closed his eyes, brushing his lips against the other’s to see how he would react.

Koschei didn’t wast any time as he kissed him back.
The first time had been a shock, this time he was ready.

He even shocked himself by pulling the other onto his lap.

Koschei laughed softly and hums happily into the kiss.

“How do you make me so happy Theta? I’ve never been this happy before…”

He laughs slightly at that.

“You, are a Dork… say, do you want me to read you that chapter out loud? It means you get to listen to me, I’m paying attention to you and you get through the chapter.” He grins.

Theta kept a little smile on his face as he twirled a bit of the other’s hair.

“I will but if I do you also owe me another kiss, for later of course.” he purred slightly, now he didn’t have to read and he gets to hear Koschei’s voice, this was his lucky day.

“If you want more kisses, you just need to ask, you don’t need to bribe me.” He smirked slightly as he grabs the discarded book and opens it to the right page.

“I’ll always be happy to kiss you.” He winks and starts to read the chapter, holding the other close.

Theta blushed brightly at what the other said, it made his hearts flutter and he hid his face in the other’s shoulder, listening to him.

“I love you Koschei.”

Koschei paused mid sentence at what theta said to him and licked his lips.

“I-… I love you too Theta…” he told him softly, but his eyes were shining brightly, showing the joy he was feeling.
