The fact he’s named kinda brushes over the fact this is a wild elephant. Born in the wild, raised in the wild, the only human interaction is watching the safaris. And after mean humans shot him, he decided the best course of action was to go visit the nice humans who just take pictures in hopes they’d help him. And then, even though they didn’t help him right away, he trusted that because they continued to be nice, he was safe, and they would help him.

Orphans who were rescued, raised, and released by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya have communicated that it is a place of safety to other elephants who’ve never even been there.
Injured animals will show up there when they have been harmed by poachers because they know it is a place where they can get help!

Chiyo gets swallowed by the rift one day while out with the team. Having had her newest prototype with her, her very once Force-feild, it protected her through her fall through the rift, but as she appeared in the year 2008, she hit her head on the ground.
She was then found by the Team and taken to the hub to get looked at and asked questions when she was awake.
Back in 2036 – The team are panicking and frantically trying to figure out how to get her back, till Ianto finds and old photo from 2008 – which makes them call the Doctor for help.

The particle accelerator smashes the atoms together, like a little antimatter factory, to produce positrons, which are then stored very carefully inside electric and magnetic fields. The positrons interact with the fuel materials to produce heat, which produces thrust… It’s beautiful. Antimatter powering the movement of matter, bringing positrons into existence to move other forms of life across space. I love it! Conceptually… and actually.
